Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua now says that she would never work for President William Ruto.
While responding to a question on whether she would have accepted a nomination if she got one, Karua insisted that she would never and they also know her position.
She went on to clarify that she did not receive any job offer from Ruto's government.
The former Justice minister explained that she has had the opportunity to work with both Ruto and Raila Odinga in Parliament and she knows Raila is easy to work with.
She added that with Raila, even when you have differences, there is always room to sit down and address whatever it is.
"Of course I wouldn't work for William Ruto. Whatever changes and whatever quality of people he gets, he is the minister for everything. He will not let anybody work.
"I have the experience of working with these people in Parliament, I know at least Raila is easy to work with. You can differ but you can sit across the table and discuss it. There is no way I would accept to work for William Ruto and they didn’t ask me, they also know my position," Karua said on Citizen TV.
The Narc Kenya leader during the interview termed Ruto's nomination of a fresh Cabinet as just a diversionary tactic.
She said what Ruto has done is more of the same, even with the changes in Cabinet.
She went on to say that the vetting of Cabinet Secretary nominees was another circus.
Karua insisted that the Ruto regime is deaf to what Kenyans want.
"The Cabinet nominations are a diversionary tactic. Ruto got the message that the people want him to go, a fresh start. He then goes ahead to nominate Cabinet and the vetting becomes a circus in parliament.
"The message is that this is more of the same, nothing has changed, nothing will change and the regime is tone deaf to the demands of Kenyans as fronted by the Gen Zs."
The Narc Kenya leader has maintained a hard-line stance over the prospects of joining the Kenya Kwanza government.
