Businessman Jimi Wanjigi has claimed that police are at his residence in Muthaiga, Nairobi.

He said he doesn’t know what they want or what he has done.

“They are outside the house and want to arrest or harm me,” he said.

He said police are outside his house demanding to be let into the compound.

Police claimed wanjigi was seen along Limuru Road with a group of people dishing out money.

The officers said he was chased and he drove off before he vanished into Karura Forest.

Wanjigi denied the claims.

He asked since when did it become illegal for him to drive around.

“I'm a free man to drive the way I want. Is it wrong to do so? And even if it is true I was dishing out money as they claim, for what?” He asked.

Wanjigi termed the move as harassment even as more police were being sent to his house.

By 4.10 pm, more officers were still arriving at the residence.

Wanjigi said the onogoing protests are organic and the demands of the protesters are genuine.
