President William Ruto on Friday hosted the Kenya National Music Festival (KNMF) State Concert at the State Lodge in Eldoret City.

The best of the 96th KNMF items got the honour of performing for the President and other dignitaries. 

The theme of the 2024 music festival is "Talent Development For Growth of the Creative Economy".

The festivals were held at Moi Girls High School from August 2 to August 14, 2024.

KNMF is an annual talent development initiative overseen by the Ministry of Education and regarded as the largest festival of its kind in East and Central Africa.

The President of the Republic of Kenya, serves as the festival's Patron, while an Executive Committee appointed by the Cabinet Secretary manages its affairs, with technical support from the Directorate for Field Coordination and Co-curricular Activities.
