LIVE: Senate to decide Mwangaza's fate today

Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza will know her fate today as the Senate concludes impeachment hearing.

The trial started Monday where lawyers representing her and the County Assembly faced off.

Today, Mwangaza will be accorded an opportunity to present her case before the House.

Senators will also be allowed to ask questions or seek clarifications from her.

This will be followed by closing statements by the parties for a period not exceeding one hour each.

The Senate shall then proceed to a debate prior to voting on each of the charges.
