A passenger was shot and killed after gunmen opened fire on a bus on Monday evening in Sololo, Moyale, in Marsabit county.

Before the attackers fled, four other passengers were left with bullet wounds during the attack that happened between Bori Junction and Dadach Lakole.

The bus had 40 passengers and was heading to Marsabit town and then to Nairobi.
