Kenya Power has listed areas in four counties that will experience power interruptions on Friday.
The power company said the areas to be affected are within Nairobi, Kakamega, Homa Bay and Nyeri.
The interruptions will occur at diverse times of the day between 8 am and 5 pm.
The interruption is to facilitate system maintenance.
They include:
Nairobi
Parts of Nairobi will experience power cuts from 9am to 5pm.
They are Runda Mumwe East, Part of Eliud Mathu Road, Pan Africa Insurance, Eagle Park, Benin Drive and Afana Road.
Kakamega
Areas in Kakamega to experience power interruption are Shianda KMTC, Ekero, Malakha, Shitoto, Lubinu, Amatia, Maraba and Shianda Market.
The interruption will also affect Wachara, Rachar, Mbani, Ranen Mikumi, Nyarandi, Nyamogo and Kalamindi.
Homa Bay
Parts of Homa Bay county that will experience the power interruption include Wachara, Rachar, Mbani, Ranen Mikumi, Nyarandi, Nyamogo, Kalamindi and adjacent customers.
Nyeri
In Nyeri, the power will be out between 8am and 5pm in Kirigu Coffe factory, Gatina Coffe Factory, Gakuyu Secondary School, Gatina Village, Mukangu Dispensary, Mukangu Market, Mukangu Coffee Factory, Safaricom and Airtel Boosters and Mukangu Secondary School.
