This week saw major events and developments unfolding across the country.
The week began with chaos at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where passengers were stranded due to protests.
At the same time, shallow graves were discovered in Trans Nzoia. This is even as President William Ruto launched projects to enhance the Nairobi River.

JKIA strike
The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) began staged protests over the Adani deal.
It began on Tuesday night and gained momentum with long queues and heavy police presence.
Operations largely remain paralysed at the airport.
Later in the day the leaders reached an agreement after a series of meetings and called off the strike.
Nairobi River
Ruto on Thursday launched the Nairobi River Regeneration Project in Korogocho, Nairobi under the Climate WorX Mtaani initiative.
He noted that a clean and revitalised Nairobi River means improved public health, enhanced local business opportunities and a safer environment for the residents.
Ruto stated that the project will focus on restoring the river's natural beauty, eliminating pollution and creating green spaces that uplift surrounding communities.
On Tuesday, Interior CS Kithure Kindiki toured different parts of the Nairobi Rivers to verify compliance with orders for the removal of structures and settlements within the riparian corridors.
Mt Kenya MPs meeting
Mt Kenya East Members of Parliament on Monday met to chat about the way forward for the region.
The MPs met at the Izaak Walton Inn in Embu, where, after deliberations, they unanimously endorsed Interior CS Kithure Kindiki to be their leader.
They were drawn from Embu, Tharaka Nithi and Meru counties.
Shallow grave in Trans Nzoia
Police in Trans Nzoia exhumed the body of a woman which was wrapped in a blanket and buried in a shallow grave.
The woman has since been identified as Alice Chemutai, a resident of Kitale town.
Trans Nzoia DCI boss Paul Songok led homicide officers at the home in Kaliwa village, Waitaluk ward where the body was exhumed.
Songok said three suspects are in police custody in connection with her death and secret burial. The shallow grave was located behind a mud house.
Harmony for Haiti
Various leaders on Sunday joined Kenyans for the Harmony for Haiti Concert at Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi.
The concert was a collaborative humanitarian and cultural initiative supported by the Kenya Against Violence Organisation as part of the larger ‘Africa4Haiti’ initiative.
Several leaders including Prime Cabinet Secretary, Musalia Mudavadi, Foreign Affairs PS, Korir Sing'oei and ambassadors were among the attendees.
