Political activist Kasmuel McOure has told off Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba over her remarks on his meeting with National Assembly Majority Whip Sylvanus Osoro.

Wamuchomba had shared a picture of Kasmuel and Osoro on her X social platform telling him that some spirits can be transferred.

"My Son Kasamueri (Kasmuel) some spirits are transferable lol," the MP wrote.

In response, the activist said Wamuchomba was elected on the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket.

He went on to question if the party's spirits were not transferable then.

Kasmuel asked the Githunguri MP to act like the leader she is.

He added that should she have done the right thing, he would not have to be on the streets protesting.

"You were elected under Ruto's party. Weren't spirits transferable then? You want me to die on the streets when I can tell you the truth when I meet you in person? If you did the right thing, I wouldn't need to be on the streets. You're the elected leader here. Act like one!" Kasmuel said.

This came hours after he had explained details of his meeting with Osoro after Kenyans started questioning his activism.

The photos had gone viral after their meeting.

Kasamuel explained that it was the first time they were meeting and he used the opportunity to tell Osoro what he has always advocated for online.

"I go to that members' club often and meet plenty of Kenyans there. The Majority Whip of Parliament is one of the many members.

"It was my first time meeting him, and I took the opportunity to say to his face what I’ve always said online: Their government has failed us in fundamental ways. Extrajudicial killings, false promises on service delivery, and a blatant disregard for the rule of law," Kasmuel said.

The activist noted that during their deliberation they disagreed on many aspects and agreed on some.

Kasmuel insisted that any chance he gets to say the truth to power he will take it.
