The Speaker of the National Assembly, Moses Wetang'ula, has reaffirmed Kenya's commitment to strengthening its long-standing relationship with Qatar.

During a courtesy meeting with Qatar’s newly appointed Ambassador to Kenya, Mohammed Mutair Al Shamlani Al-Anzi on Wednesday, the two leaders agreed to bolster the collaboration between their respective legislative bodies—the National Assembly and Qatar’s Majlis as-Shura (Shura Council).

Kenya and Qatar have enjoyed strong ties for over 21 years, particularly in sectors such as trade, transport, tourism, and agriculture.
