A GLOBETROTTING FLAMBOYANT governor who leads a cosmopolitan county could soon face the wrath of the MCAs. The ward reps are angry with the chronically absent governor. He is a rare sight in his office to address their concerns.

Those in the know say the MCAs are putting together a case on the amount of money the county boss has splurged on his endless foreign trips.

They say it is just a matter of time before an ouster motion is tabled on the floor of the county assembly.

The ward reps are also planning to present the dossier on the governor’s globetrotting to their party boss.

DISQUIET HAS ROCKED employees of a state institution because of the conduct of a top figure there.

The man is accused of diverting funds meant for their trips to his office.

Worse, the office has accumulated pending bills running into millions of shillings, the bulk of the debts owed to an airline for the man’s trips.

The officer has been traversing the world with his close associates.

The employees, who have not travelled outside their workstation since January, are now demanding an audit of the funds spent in the office since June last year.

JUST WHY IS a second-term UDA MP so bitter with a Cabinet secretary? This is the question some lawmakers were heard asking, following the MP’s relentless attacks on the official.

Recently, the lawmaker launched a scathing blitzkrieg on the CS during a parliamentary meeting, hurling all sorts of insults at him.

It took the intervention of the committee chairman to tame the raging legislator and restore calm.

Those in the know say the MP is bitter with the CS for rejecting a deal in which he would have minted millions of shillings.
