Kenyan firms to be honoured in key international awards in Nairobi

Kenyans firms will be honoured at the prestigious Elite Brands Awards International, which is scheduled to take place on December 13.

The event will be held at a Nairobi hotel and will see over 18 counties participate.

The event, which celebrates innovation, quality, and service delivery, is organized by Jubilant Stewards of Africa in partnership with the Association of Kenya.

"We aim to honour those who have shown a remarkable commitment to excellence and community empowerment," Executive Director of Jubilant Stewards of Africa Jared Oundo said. 

"The brands being awarded are not just about showbiz; they represent true industry leaders who have made a significant impact in their communities."

He said the Elite Brands Awards International seeks to uplift and recognize companies that excel in various areas, including service delivery, innovation, and ethical business practices.

The Elite Brands Awards International is the eighth of its kind and serves as a vital platform for recognizing the crème de la crème of African brands.

The event aims to promote ethical practices, innovation, and leadership among SMEs and mid-sized institutions.

The firms to be honoured are Mwananchi Credit Ltd, Quipbank Trust Ltd, Go Electric Ltd, Utu Cars Africa, Safaricom, KCB Bank, KCB Group CEO, Westlands Laser Eye Hospital, University of Nairobi, Jijenge Credit Ltd, JCL Motors Ltd, Bama Diaspora Realty Ltd and Optiven Ltd.

"These organizations have been selected for their outstanding contributions to various sectors, reflecting Uganda's growing influence in the regional business landscape," Oundo added.
