The politician recently hosted a meeting at his rural home and reportedly apologised to the electorate.

He is said to have allegedly told constituents that even if he refused to vote for the impeachment, his vote would not make a difference.

The meeting attended by elders and his supporters allegedly resolved that the MP meets Gachagua in person to tender his apology.

The elders told him that irrespective of the outcome of the ongoing court process, he should embrace Gachagua.

A meeting is reportedly being planned after the cases in court are concluded.
