President William Ruto on Monday hosted the delegation from China's ruling party CPC led by Li Xi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.

The team is in the country on the invitation of the UDA party.

The visit follows a heightened engagement between UDA and CPC.

In May, a team from the UDA toured Beijing on a benchmarking mission.
