Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and other opposition leaders addressing a press conference on Friday, November 15, 2024.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has faulted the government’s plans to vaccinate 22 million cows claiming there is more than meets the eye.

The former Vice President claims there is a foreign agenda pushing Kenya into what will permanently alter the genetic structure of the local breeds with far-reaching health consequences to Kenyans.

The government has promised to vaccinate all 22 million cattle in the country on January 2025. Another 50 million sheep and goats will also be vaccinated to control livestock diseases.

But Kalonzo on Friday called on Kenyan’s to reject the countrywide exercise warning of plans to turn Kenyans into guinea pigs.

He called on Kenyans to resist the planned vaccination across the country insisting the dangers of the exercise outweigh its benefits.

“The negative consequences are twofold. The first issue is the deterioration of livelihoods in pastoralist communities,” Kalonzo said.

“The second is, of course, human exposure to unusual industrial meats, the ramifications of which have yet to be completely investigated. Essentially, these are side effects.”

“As the people’s loyal opposition, we reject these experiments in toto. Let everyone know that we will resist them till the very end. We ask our fellow Kenyans to join us in opposing the proposed vaccinations, which clearly hurt our animals and endanger our people.”

The former Vice President noted that the vaccines will permanently alter the genetics of local breeds leading to various levels of malformations amongst the local livestock.

“We have also been reliably informed on incontrovertible scientific authority that these vaccines will alter the genetic structure of our animals,” the Wiper leader.

“After one or two generations of vaccines (up to 36 months), reproduction of new life will begin to be plagued by issues.

“These issues include, but are not limited to, the birth of animals with severe biological malformations as a result of genetic manipulation.”
