President William Ruto is currently attending a church service in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.
The president is later expected to retreat for this year's Christmas which he had traditionally spent at his expansive Sugoi home, sharing goodies with locals.
The President was received at African Inland Church, Kipkorgot by county Governor Jonathan Bii Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi.
Gen Z sensation Kasmuel McOure is among the people who lined up to receive President Ruto.
Kasmuel who was among the key figures who led the Gen Z protests against the government in June also recently met former prime minister Raila Odinga and officially joined the ODM party.
He has come under heavy criticism from his Gen Z compatriots for allegedly betraying the movement by deciding to support the Kenya Kwanza government.
Kasmuel had however told off his critics saying he made the decision out of his own volition and was not influenced in any way.
His appearance at President Ruto's event and lining to receive the Head of State alongside other top government officials and church leaders could be interpreted as his strong approval of President Ruto's government.
Some ODM leaders have said they will nurture Kasmuel saying he has shown capabilities and qualities of being a leader.
In Eldoret on Sunday, Kasmuel was also seen having a discussion with Sudi before the president's arrival.
"We are grateful to welcome His Excellency the President in celebrating the opening of this New Church Sanctuary at AIC Kipkorgot in Ainabkoi Constituency Uasin Gishu County," Sudi said on his X account.
Just as the Bible reminds us in Psalms 122:1, this is purely a testament of unwavering faith and dedication, Sudi quoted the Holy Book.
The president will officially unveil the AIC Kipkorgot church sanctuary which was recently completed after years of construction.
"The radiant sanctuary was built by boundless faith and steadfast dedication of the community," Sudi said in his X account.
