Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah is among a group of protesters who were picked by police officers from Nairobi Central Business District and taken to Central Police Station for processing.

The group had staged a protest on Monday to voice their reservation about rising cases of abductions.

Omtatah was picked up by police after minutes of a standoff involving police officers in Nairobi CBD.

This is after he and other protesters clung to a heavy-duty metal chain in a bid to block police from arresting them.
