Ruto appoints Aisha Jumwa to Kenya Roads Board
Ruto apointed the former CS as non-executive chairperson of the Board.
ODM treasurer Timothy Bosire has been appointed non-executive chair of the NTSA board.

President William Ruto has made a host of appointments to State Agencies in key changes the left some sent home and new office bearers named.
In a Gazette Notice dated January 17, ODM party Treasurer Timothy Bosire, who is also a close ally of ODM leader Raila Odinga, was appointed the non-executive chairperson of the Board of Directors of the National Transport and Safety Authority.
Ruto at the same time revoked the appointment of Manoj Shah who was serving in the position.
Bosire will serve for three years effective January 17.
In the same Gazette Notice, President Ruto ratified the appointment of Bernard William Chitunga to be the Chancellor of the Co-operative University of Kenya.
Chitunga is a global development finance professional with 15 years of experience in Africa, Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Before his appointment, he served as a Partnership Specialist and Secretariat- Special Funds Management at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, China.
His appointment took effect on January 10.
In the same Gazette Notice, Ruto appointed Mohamed Ibrahim Elmi to be the non-executive chairperson of the National Livestock Development and Promotion Service. He will serve in the role for three years effective January 17, 2025.
The Head of State has also named Daniel Mwirigi M'Amanja to be the non-executive Chairperson of the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics. His appointment took effect on January 10, 2025, and he will serve for three years.
George Wanga has been appointed the non-executive chairperson of the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority for a period of three years effective January 17, 2025. In making the appointment, Ruto sent home Jackton Boma Ojwang who was holding the position.
Edwin Sudi Wandabusi has been named the non-executive chairperson of the Kenya Film Commission and will serve in the role for three years effective January 17.
Ruto also appointed Kadhua Jimmy Kahindi to be the non-executive chairperson of the Board of Kenya Fishing Industries Corporation. He will serve for three years effective January 17, 2025.
Ahmed Kolosh Mohamed was named the non-executive Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Maritime Authority, a position he will serve for three years effective January 17, 2025.
In making the appointment, Ruto sent home Hamisi Mwaguya.
