Kenya Power staff/FILEKenya Power has listed areas in four counties scheduled for power interruption on Thursday.
The power interruption will occur between 8am and 5pm in the different counties.
Kenya Power said the power interruption is meant to facilitate system maintenance.
Areas to be affected are in four counties—Nairobi, Narok, Isiolo and Kwale.
Nairobi
Parts of Nairobi will experience power cuts from 9am to 5pm.
They include Sunton, Linet Academy, Clay City Police, Part of Garage, Part of Majimazuri, Aberdare, Mukinduri, & adjacent customers.
At the same time areas in Naivasha Road to experience power supply interruption are Part of Naivasha Road, Melchizedek Hospital, Corner Heights, Makena 47 Apartments, Part of Riara Road, Riara Close, Kingara Road, Kingara Close, Mbaazi Close, Part of Mbaazi Avenue, Merlin Court, MAC Apartments, Part of Gitanga Rd, Part of Jacaranda Avenue, EBRU TV Station, Part of James Gichuru Road, Rubis Petrol Station James Gichuru, and Whole of Hatheru Road.
Others are Bamboo Lane, Part of Dagoretti Corner, Wanyee Road, Deliverance Stage, Braeburn School, Rusinga School, Kawangware Primary, Kawangware Coast, Part of Gitanga Road, Kawangware Musalaba, Muslim Road, Satellite East, Kinyanjul Road, Part of Kabiria Road, Kinyanjui Technical, Urban Oasis, and Mulberry Apartments.
Narok
Parts of Narok will experience power supply interruptions from 8am to 4pm.
They are Narok Town, Majengo, Fanaka, London, Adams East and adjacent customers.
Isiolo
Areas in Isiolo will experience power interruptions from 8am to 3pm.
They include Merti Town, Merti Primary, Macci Boys, Bulesa Dispensary, and Bisan Biliqo Primary.
Coast region
Parts of the Coast region to have power cuts from 9am to 5pm are PVC Africa, Salima Gases, Mwele, Kombeni, Mwawesa, Rabal Mining, Chonyl Pri, Changombe, Chiveri Primary, Mkapuni, Batani, Kasidi, Mwanjama, Kawala Pri, Makanzani, Kwa Juaje, Mikahani, Makobeni, Kambe, Ziro Pri, Pangani, Tsagwa, Jibana Health, Mbuyuni, Chije Primary, and Jeuri Primary.
Areas in Kwale to have power cuts from 9am to 5pm are Carrefour, Swahili Beach, Kaskazi Beach, Diani Shopping Centre, Chandarana and adjacent customers.
