A requiem mass for the late Lydia Tokesi was held Thursday at the Montezuma funeral home in Nairobi, with family, friends, and relatives joining hands to pay tribute to her.

Tokesi went missing early this month only to be found within Gataka forest in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County, with her body badly mutilated.

Investigations reveal that she was killed by her lover, with whom she had stayed together for long.

Detectives said the suspect lured her to a house in Ongata Rongai, where she stayed until January 4, when she was reported missing.
