A GROUP OF lawmakers has ganged up against a colleague from their region they accuse of using his position in Parliament to sideline them.

According to sources, the bone of contention is the MP’s move to direct all development projects to his constituency.

The lawmakers have now warned they will abandon the ruling administration because they stand to lose their seats for not delivering to their people owing to their colleagues’ inconsiderate behaviour.

A VOCAL POLITICIAN is said to be in distress following recent developments that saw him part ways with the whois-who in the current administration.

The politician was known to be philanthropic but currently avoids social events, where he would normally make generous donations. His sports tournaments in the villages are no longer as impressive as before.

Previously, the politician would dish out jerseys to all fans who would be the first to attend matches, but not anymore.

Last December, there were concerns that various teams did not receive their pay, including the tournament winner.

SECURITY PERSONNEL ATTACHED to crucial state assets are up in arms over non-payment of allowances, for more than four months in most cases.

A mole whispered to Corridors of Power about the grumbles in the teams.

They claim they are forced to spend nights in vehicles whenever they are outside their workstations.

The lot wants a return of the old order, saying they never suffered as is the case today.

They want a big man to intervene and have them sorted as soon as possible.

A SENIOR OFFICIAL at a devolved unit does not impress his colleagues with what they term as daily publicity stunts.

Some Cabinet-level officials in the strategic county were overheard dismissing the purported activities, some of which are conducted at very odd hours.

Their take was that the purported activities and knee-jerk actions were not well thought through and were going to amount to nothing.

They said the publicity the man craves will dissipate without him realising the intended outcomes.
