KPLC staffKenya Power has listed some areas across the country scheduled for power interruption on Wednesday.
The utility firm announced that parts of six counties will experience power interruption to allow system maintenance.
The power interruption will occur between 9am and 5pm in different areas.
Counties to be affected are Nairobi, West Pokot, Kakamega, Tharaka Nithi, Kitui and Kwale.
Nairobi
Areas in Nairobi will face power cuts from 9am to 5pm.
They include NSSF, West Park, Unga House, Muthithi Road, GTC, Avocado Villas, Pride Inn, J. Arcade, Posta, Woodvale Road and adjacent customers.
Others are Ngina Road, Sam West Distributors, Mariro Flats, Part of Kikuyu Road and adjacent customers.
Areas in Umoja including Umoja 2 East, St. Veronica Catholic Church, Busara Primary, Peter Kibukosya Primary and Secondary School and Tumaini Primary will experience power interruptions from 9am to 6pm.
West Pokot
Parts of West Pokot will experience power interruption from 9am to 3pm.
The areas are Wakor, Marich Pass, Sigor, Lomut, Orwa, Sarmach, and Kainuk.
Kakamega
Some areas in Kakamega will experience power cuts from 9am to 5pm.
The areas are Lurambi Primary, Metrological Site, Maraba Primary, Maramba East, Shikhambi, Bukhulunya and adjacent customers.
Tharaka Nithi
Parts of Tharaka Nithi will have power cuts from 8.30am to 4.30 pm. The areas include Kathwana Market, County Headquarters, Komarock Hospital, Matiri Market, St. Osora, Nkarini Market, Maweni Primary and adjacent customers.
Kitui
Areas in Kitui will experience power interruptions from 9am to 5pm.
They include Kunda Kendu, Mosquito, Ginnery, Wikililye, Kisasi, Ikanga Mbitini, Voo, Kyuluni, Maluma, Nzangathi, Miambani, Kamandio, Inyuu, Nzombe, Kyamatu, and adjacent customers.
Kwale
Areas in Kwale scheduled for power interruption from 9am to 5pm are Mwachema, Tiwi sokoni, Kombani, Matuga, Coast calcium, Ngombeni and adjacent customers.
