Hospital sources told that the Star the Former IEBC boss is admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital.

"We are monitoring his situation at the ICU," the source said.

What Chebukati ails from remains private.

Close family sources told the Star the former IEBC boss has been undergoing treatment at home and was taken to the Hospital after the situation got dire.

Chebukati served as IEBC chair for a full term of six years and retired in January 2023.

He presided over the 2017 and 2022 General Elections
