KPLC lists areas in 9 counties to face power cuts Wednesday

The power interruption will occur between 8 am and 5 pm in the different counties.

Kenya Power has listed areas in nine counties scheduled for power interruption on Wednesday.

The power interruption will occur between 8 am and 5 pm in the different counties.

The counties to be affected are Nairobi, Kakamega, Kisii, Embu, Meru, Kiambu, Kitui, Kilifi and Kwale.

The power interruption is to allow system maintenance.

Nairobi

The power interruption will occur from 8.30am to 5pm.

The areas to be affected include Muratha Road, Hinga Road, Gichagi Road, Kangemi Primary, Kangemi High, Kangemi Bottom Line, Kangemi Shangilia, Ananda Marga Academy, Kangemi Dallas, Kihumbuini Pri, Kangemi Co-op Bank, and adjacent customers.

Other areas to experience power interruption from 9am to 6pm include Umoja 2 Estate, St. Veronicah Catholic Church, Busara Primary, Peter Kibukosya Primary and Secondary School, Kifaru, Tumaini Primary, and adjacent customers.

Kakamega

Parts of Kakamega to face power interruption from 9am to 5pm are Lukume Market, Bukhakunga, Imbiakalo, Sawasawa, Burundu, Shihome, Power Spot Residence and adjacent customers.

Kisii

Areas in Kisii will face power cuts from 8.30am to 4pm.

They include Nyamagesa, Rianyoka, Nyamasibi, Bonyakoni Secondary, Keroka Hill Top Hotel, Ichuni Girls, Nyaturago Secondary, Hema Chitago Secondary, and adjacent customers.

Embu

Parts of Embu to face power cuts from 8.30am to 5pm include Ishiara Polytechnic and adjacent Customers

Meru

Areas in Meru are set to face a power interruption from 8.30am to 5pm.

The areas include Ntugi Market, Kibirichia Market, Ntirimiti Base Station, Muruguma Market, Murinya Market, Kanguambi, Ruibi, Naari, Kimbo Market, Marania, VoK, Kironya, Kathatene, Kaburiko, Kongoni Farm, AA Growers, Embori Farm, Kisima Farm, Uhuru Flowers, PJ Dave, Kikwetu Flowers, Kisima Seconadry, Timaflow, School of Adventure, Bloomingdale, and Edenbrooks.

Kiambu

Parts of Kiambu to experience power cuts from 9am to 5pm include Cytton, St. Peters Hospital, Gacharage, Total Gacharage, Ndenderu, Kahingo Stage, Club Decimal, Royal Brain, and adjacent customers.

Other areas to face power cuts from 9am to 5pm are Gwa Kairu, Riverside, Thome, St. Linda, Gatong’ora, Part of Bypass, Miti Kenda, Karuguru, Whole of Mashinani, Kiratina, Bypass Corner, Green Valley, Silicon Valley, Tiverton, Mutonya Dispensary, Kwa China, Sewage, Kwihota, and Gituamba Water Project.

Kitui

Parts of Kitui to face power interruption from 9am to 5pm are Thitani Market, Kavoloi Market, Kanyaa Mkt, Kitulani Secondary School, Mathunzini Market, Ngongoni Market, Yenzuva, Mavui Market, Kyusyani Market, Nzuli Secondary  School, Kasavini Primary School and  adjacent customers.

Kilifi

Areas in Kilifi to experience power cuts from 9am to 5pm are parts of Mwango, Mkoroshoni, Basi, Mzongoloni, Mtondia, Tezo, Chumani, Magorani, Zowerani, Ngerenya, Roka and adjacent customers.

Kwale

Areas in Kwale scheduled for power interruption from 9am to 3pm are Vingujini, Sawasawa Beach, Msambweni Referral Hosp, Msambweni Beach House, KMTC Msambweni, and adjacent customers.
