Kenya Power has listed areas in five counties scheduled for power cuts on Friday.
The power interruption will facilitate system maintenance.
The areas will experience power interruption from 8am to 5pm.
Counties to be affected include Nairobi, Kisii, Murang’a, Meru, and Taita Taveta.
Nairobi
Parts of Nairobi will experience power cuts from 9am to 5pm.
The areas include Nyangumi Road, Chaka Road, Lenana Road, Turbo Road, Rose Ave, Jabavu Road, Kasuku Road, Makuyu Lane and Theta Lane and adjacent customers.
Kisii
Parts of Kisii will face power cuts from 9am to 5pm.
The areas include Nyamaiya, Nyabera, Riagumo, Arura, Gesabakwa, Ekona, Suguta, Nyamondo ATC, Mogenda, Monianku Secondary School, Metaburo Secondary School, Muma Secondary School, Ochodororo Weighbridge, Moticho and adjacent customers.
Murang’a
Areas in Murung’a to experience power disruption from 9am to 5pm include Githambo Market, Kanyenyaini Market, Rwathia Secondary, Rwathia Market, Kiairathe Secondary, Kiairathe Market, Kiawambogo Market, and adjacent customers.
Meru
Parts of Meru to experience power interruption from 8.30am to 5pm include Meru Water Supply, Start Times Network, Katheri, Githogo Town, Githogo T/Fact, Chief Ikunyua, Kirongine, Patmos, Kathumbi, Kainginyo, Kianthumbi, Kithioro, Nthimbiri, Mworoga, Kithaku, Kanthuni, Kathiranga Secondary School, Muringa TBC, Meru Central Diary Cooling Centre, Githongo Law Courts, Krugwa Girls, Kinjo Market, Hydro PSP and adjacent customers.
Taita Taveta
Areas in Taita Taveta to have power cuts from 9am to 5pm include Whole of Jora, Bungule, Kasigau Girls School, Whole of Makwasinyi and adjacent customers
