President William Ruto officially flagged off the event on Thursday, March 20 in Nairobi before the rally made its way to Kasarani for the Super Special Stage.

Drivers navigated the challenging Kasarani track in head-to-head battles, showcasing their skills before heading to the gruelling Naivasha terrain.

With top rally drivers from around the world competing, fans can expect high-speed action, breathtaking scenery, and unpredictable twists as the event unfolds.

The event ends on Sunday, March 23.

Omani burial 

Deputy Inspector General of Police Eliud Lagat will lead top officials to the funeral of senior DCI officer Tom Omani in Nyamira.

Omani, a former Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) died a week ago at a hospital in Nairobi after a long illness.

The officer was widely respected for his dedication to law enforcement reforms, particularly in forensic investigations, and had advocated for enhanced cybercrime and technology training within the service to address evolving global crimes.

Council of Governors meeting

The Council of Governors (COG) will today hold an extraordinary council meeting to deliberate on the recent budget cuts.

It will be held at the COG offices, Delta Corner from noon.

Safaricom Spark Accelerator programme

Telecommunication service provide-Safaricom- will today unveil the Cohort 2-Spark accelerator programme 2025.

It will be held at Michael Joseph Centre (MJC) Safaricom Headquarters from 8 am.
