ODM leader Raila Odinga and the former Attorney General Amos Wako reunited to reflect on their relationship at Odinga's Capitol Hill office in Nairobi on Friday.

The two leaders reconnected and exchanged insights on recent developments, reflecting on their shared experiences and future aspirations.

“It's always a refreshing moment to catch up with former Attorney General and Busia Senator Amos Wako,” Odinga posted on his social media handle.

The duo, in a picture seen by the Star, were seen exchanging friendly smiles as their hands clasped in a firm handshake during their meetup.

The two leaders have previously worked together with the most memorable moment happening last year when Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja coalition saw Amos Wako lead a three-member panel tasked with auditing the 2022 presidential general election results.

The decision underscored the coalition’s confidence in Wako’s legal expertise and his commitment to ensuring transparency during elections.

Their meeting comes amidst a series of consultations the former prime minister has been holding with other leaders.

“I met our experts in the broad-based coalition together with our parliamentary leadership to consult on national and emerging issues,” Raila stated on Thursday.

The ODM leader has in the recent past seen his influence rise as he hosts senior government officials. This has been evident since he signed a cooperation agreement with President William Ruto.
