State announces 84 job opportunities in different institutions

The state has advertised 84 positions across different agencies for interested candidates to apply.

In notices published via Tuesday’s issue of MyGov, the institutions advertised the different job vacancies that are up for grabs.

Among the institutions include Kenya Electricity Generating Company which is seeking to recruit general managers in corporate services, commercial services and supply chain.

The energy company is also looking for managers of corporate finance, ICT- Digital infrastructure, ICT- Business applications and internal audit.

Other positions include assistant manager- innovation, principal legal officer, reservoir engineers or scientists, electrical engineers (steam field) and legal officer.

Application letters are to be sent to [email protected] while hard copies should be delivered to the office of the Managing Director and CEO, Stima Plaza in Pension Plaza II, Nairobi by April 15, 2025, 5 pm.

The Ministry of Health also seeks to fill vacant 55 positions in different departments on a two-year contract.

They include a project manager, five technical manager- technical operation, a technical manager-system infrastructure, a project support manager, 5 software engineers -design and development, and others on quality assurance and support and maintenance.

More positions include system infrastructure engineers (2), cyber security engineers (2), network operation engineers (3), health informatics officers (5), a finance officer (1), an accountant (1), a supplies and logistics officer (1), human resource and administration officer (1), assistant engineer (6), account assistant (1), office administrator (2), 3 drivers and 2 office assistants.

Salaries and Remuneration Commission on its part has advertised the position of a Commission Secretary or Chief Executive Officer.

The candidate must be a Kenyan citizen, hold a degree from a recognized university in Kenya, have at least 10 years of experience in human resource management, financial management or public management and meet the requirements required in Chapter 6 of the Constitution.

Maseno University has advertised a range of available positions raging from 18 departments.

The departments include linguistics and literary studies, economics, business administration, finance and accounting, nursing, agricultural economics and rural development and urban management

Other departments are directorate information and communication technology services, student affairs, human resources, department of medical microbiology, ecotourism, hotel and institutional management, public health, economics, internal audit and special needs education.
