Gachagua asks Kajiado residents to embrace peace

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has asked residents of Kajiado county to live in harmony and peace.

The former DP had stopped in Kiserian town where he had the pleasure of having lunch in the town.

After enjoying the meal, Gachagua acknowledged greetings from the people of Kiserian town and addressed them from his car's rooftop.

“Kajiado is cosmopolitan area, I ask you to live as brothers and sisters; do business together, intermarry and let everyone feel at home,” he said.

The former VP made the remarks by a roadside in the company of senators Karungo Thang’wa (Kiambu) and Seki Lenku (Kajiado).

Gachagua told Kiserian residents that he will be unveiling his new party in May.

“We have decided to have our political party and Kajiado people will lead the party. We will announce the party in May. We will have candidates for all the seats from President, all the way to MCA,” he said.

Gachagua said that the new political outfit will give the established parties in the country a run for their money in the 2027 general elections.

He dismissed their competitors saying the entire Mt Kenya region will be behind his new party leaving little room for any serious challenge at the polls.

Senator Thang’wa echoed Gachagua's sentiments saying Kenyans are on their side and ready for new dispensation come 2027.

“We are telling them Kenyans have decided. Let us support Gachagua,” he said.

Senator Lenku said he will not be intimidated for choosing to support Gachagua.

“I want to say I will not be intimidated and I will not be swayed. I will stand with the truth and justice,” he decalred.
