KPLC lists areas to face power cuts Tuesday

The counties to be affected are Nairobi, Uasin Gishu, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Murang'a and Mombasa.

    Kenya Power staff 


    Kenya Power has announced power interruptions in some areas in six counties on Tuesday.

    The power interruption will occur at diverse times of the day between 9am and 5pm.

    The counties to be affected are Nairobi, Uasin Gishu, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Murang'a and Mombasa.

    The power cuts will help facilitate system maintenance.

    Nairobi

    Parts of Nairobi will face power cuts from 9am to 5pm.

    They are King of Judah Church, Bimz Beauty College, Swaminarayan Academy and adjacent customers.

    Other areas in Nairobi include part of Githurai 44, Part of Zimmerman, and adjacent customers.

    Uasin Gishu 

    Areas in Uasin Gishu to face power cuts from 8am to 5pm are Mugunga, Sipande, Mlimani, Pan Paper, Luanda Lugari, Munge, KMTC. Pan Paper, Mbogo and adjacent customers.

    Other areas are Langas Corner, Ndupawa, Relax Inn, Jijenge Quarry and  Starbucks Hotel.

    Kisumu 

    Areas in Kisumu to face power cuts from 9am to 3pm are Sondu, Nyabondo, Chebera and Nyakach Girls.

    Homa Bay 

    Parts of Homa Bay to face power disruption from 9am to 4pm are Kendubay Market, Ayub Akoko Primary, Kanyandhiang Market, Nyangacho Secondary School, Dago Market, Oriang Market, Adiedo Market, Pala Market and Prisons, Homahills, Gendia Hospital and High School.

    Murang'a

    Parts of Murang'a to face power cuts from 9am to 5pm are Maragwa Level 5 Hospital, Kamung'ang'a Dispensary, Equitorial Nut Processors, Afrimac, Pioneer School, Muthithi Secondary, Kaharati Market, Igikiro Market, Marawa Town, Bishop Mahiani Academy, Igikiro Boys, Mhote Farm, Murang'a School for the Deaf, Maragwa Ridge, Gachocho, Kahariro and adjacent customers.

    Mombasa 

    Areas in Mombasa will face power cuts from 9am to 5pm.

    They are Wayani, Mombasa International Airport, and adjacent customers.

    Other areas include Lecol, Part of Mbaraki Police, Mbaraki Sports Club, Petro Likoni, Shenai Restaurant, Aga Khan Hospital, Part of Kizingo & adjacent customers.
