President William Ruto has commended the role religious leaders play in society, adding that the country’s transformation requires a unified effort by the leadership spectrum.
His remarks follow a meeting he held with various religious leaders from Kiambaa, Kabete and Thika in Kiambu County.
He said that the leaders played a crucial role in maintaining society’s moral values.

“The transformation of our country calls for concerted efforts from all sections of leadership, including political and religious leaders,” Ruto said.
“We appreciate the invaluable role played by our religious leaders in upholding the moral fabric of our society. Their contribution in the provision of education and delivery of healthcare are testament to their commitment to the well-being and progress of our nation.”
The meeting follows a series of engagements the President has been holding in the recent past.
