Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi was on Tuesday joined by his supporters in solidarity outside the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission Headquarters.
The supporters who flooded the anti-corruption gates carried leaves as they waited outside, chanting songs of liberation.
They waited for him as he was inside the Commission for consultation with officers.

EACC said it executed search warrants at the residences and offices of the nine individuals as part of an ongoing investigation.
However, in a statement on X shortly after the EACC operation, Governor Wamatangi called on Kiambu residents to remain peaceful.

The governor said he was at the EACC Headquarters and will address the media shortly.
“To the great people of Kiambu County, I urge you to remain calm and peaceful. We shall overcome. We will never give in to intimidation!!! I will address the media shortly at the EACC Headquarters, Integrity House, Nairobi,” Wamatangi said.
