Several areas in seven counties will experience scheduled power interruptions on Thursday, Kenya Power has announced.
Kenya Power has listed the counties as Nairobi, Kajiado, Uasin Gishu, Kakamega, Meru, Kiambu and Mombasa.
All the affected areas will not have power from 9am to 5pm.
In Nairobi, affected areas include General Mathenge Drive, Mpaka Road, Part of 2nd and 3rd Parklands, Eldama Ravine, Suswa Road, Kusi Lane and adjacent customers.
In Kajiado, St. Patrick, Mwalimu Road, Oleteyani, Ilmasin, Olooses, Kisamis, Homeboys, Lingaloj, Ilidoriak, Tinga, Esonorua Matasia, Nkoroi, Olesurutia, Tajiri Road, Merisho and adjacent customers will experience interruptions.
Mbingwa, Ivigwa, Sango, Likuyani, Frank and Lugulu areas in Uasin Gishu will be affected.
In Kakamega, Butere Market, Shashiala Market, Maondo, Khomailo, Mapole, Eshishiebo Market and Emanyulia Market will face power cuts.
In Meru, Nkoune, Mwiriene Primary, Meru Teachers College, Mwithumwilu Secondary School, Kaaga Girls High School, Mpakone Village, Whole of Kaaga, LR Petrol Station, Gatimene Gardens, Runogone, KEMU University, Tuliza FM, Gakurine, Kiandiu, Chungu, Kwiriro Market, Runongone Airtel, Kaithe Market, Kithoka, Freds Academy, Thiiri Cultural Centre, Bishop Lawi, Imathiu Primary and Secondary, Kithoka Ripples and adjacent customers will be affected.
In Kiambu, Magajo Primary, Farainya St. Paul Gatuanyaga, Magana Primary, Munyu Girls, Munyu Dispensary, Munyu Police Station, Githima S/Center, Komo S/Center, Juja Farm Athi, Kwa Ruhi, Juja Farm Mukuyu-Ini, Kwa Murage & adjacent customers will face power cuts.
Also to face power interruptions in Kiambu are Fresha Dairies, Palm House Dairies, County Pride, Thakwa, Wanjo, Githunguri Shops, AP Canteen, Beta Care, Equity, Shell Githunguri and adjacent customers.
In Mombasa, Husein Dairy, Kimbunga, Marimani, Voroni, Mwakirunge Dumpsite, Mwakirunge Primary, Vifwanjoni, Bwagamoyo, KAA, John Ria and adjacent customers will be affected.
