Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi is calling for a thorough investigation into the alleged kidney sale fiasco linked to Mediheal Hospital in Eldoret, urging authorities to uncover the full truth.
Sudi said the illegal kidney trade has sparked panic among residents of Eldoret and across the country, underscoring the need for a comprehensive probe.
“We are aware that there has been one report on the kidney sale issue at Mediheal, but we urge calm and call on the government to conduct an in-depth investigation,” Sudi stated.
As a regional leader, Sudi noted he had received numerous concerns from residents and assured them the matter would be fully investigated.
He emphasised the sensitivity of the allegations and reiterated the need for a careful and detailed investigation.
“The probe will reveal those involved and all relevant details. We ask Kenyans to be patient as the government works to establish the truth,” Sudi said.
He made the remarks during the Eldoret Pioneer DCC Women’s Conference, held at AIC Koilebel Church in his Kapseret constituency, accompanied by area MCA David Kipleting.
Sudi urged the public and media to handle the matter with care and avoid sensationalism and propaganda, given its implications on human life.
Separately, Sudi criticised former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, accusing him of plotting to undermine President William Ruto following his impeachment by MPs.
“We have no issue with Ruto serving one term, but the reality is, you're already at home after we impeached you due to your misconduct,” Sudi said.
“He should focus on his village affairs—tend to his livestock or grow vegetables—instead of disturbing Kenyans with his cheap and tribal politics,” Sudi concluded
