The Social Health Authority (SHA) Board is seeking to recruit “visionary, result-driven and experienced professionals” for eight vacant positions.
A notice on Thursday’s daily listed the positions as those of a deputy director, human resource management and development, deputy director, administration, deputy director, corporate communication and deputy director, finance and accounts.
Other positions include two assistant directors, legal services and two assistant directors, claims and case management.

The notice stated that applicants must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution by submitting valid and current copies of various documents.
These include certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, tax compliance certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority, clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
Others are clearance certificate from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and a report from a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
Interested candidates should submit their applications, including a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, a cover letter demonstrating suitability for the position and contacts of at least three professional referees.

Applications should be submitted through https://recruitment.sha.go.ke/ and may be physically delivered to the Social Health Authority Building, 10th Floor.
All applications must be received by May 15, 2025.
SHA is seeking to enhance its institutional capacity and meet its ambitious service delivery mandate through hiring for the aforementioned positions.

The authority’s foundational objective is to provide financial risk protection for all Kenyan residents by facilitating equitable access to high-quality healthcare services.
The notice comes days after the Ministry of Health dismissed another announcement of job vacancies for SHA.
In a statement on Sunday, MoH labelled the public notice as "fake".
The notice in question showed that it had announced at least 28 job
vacancies.
The notice had claimed that the job application deadline was on April 27, 2025.
