Muturi described the event as one of the most memorable moments in his career, bringing together leaders, scholars, friends, and citizens with a shared interest in Kenya’s political evolution and governance.
“The Fight for Order is not just my story; it is a mirror of our collective journey as a nation — our struggles, lessons, and ongoing quest to build a functional and just society,” Muturi said.
He expressed gratitude to all dignitaries present, including key United Opposition leaders, for their attendance and contributions.
Among those at the event were former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, former Interior CS Fred Matiang’i, and Eugene Wamalwa.
Gachagua praised Muturi for his principled approach to public service.
“JB Muturi’s story reminds us that leadership is not only about power, but about principle — holding firm when institutions are tested and prioritising service above self. His reflections offer timely insight into what it takes to build lasting order in public life,” Gachagua said.
Matiang’i highlighted the broader significance of Muturi’s work for political discourse in Kenya.
“It was a pleasure to join my colleague and friend, former Attorney General JB Muturi, during the launch of his new book, The Fight for Order. Together with my colleagues in the United Opposition, we reflected on leadership, unity, and the ongoing efforts to improve governance in line with the Constitution,” he said.
Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka congratulated Muturi, noting the value of principled governance.
“Your work serves as an important guide for current and future leaders. Leadership requires vision, patience, and courage in acting for the nation’s interest,” Kalonzo said.
People’s Liberation Party leader Martha Karua shared a message on social media, congratulating Muturi: “Congrats, my brother, JB Muturi.”
Democratic Action Party (DAP-Kenya) leader Eugene Wamalwa also reflected on Muturi’s career-long dedication to public service.
“Thank you, JB Muturi, for hosting us at your book launch and sharing your decades-long journey in public service — from your days as a magistrate to your tenure as MP and Speaker of the National Assembly, and your roles in the Executive as AG and CS,” Wamalwa said.
The event also underscored the opposition leaders’ continued commitment to dialogue and collaboration.
