Hotpoint has expanded its retail presence in Nairobi with the opening of a new flagship outlet at Galleria Shopping Mall, strengthening its footprint as it marks 42 years of serving Kenyan customers.
The company said the new branch is its 14th outlet countrywide and its most ambitious store to date. The outlet spans 9,092 square feet, making it Hotpoint's second-largest outlet in Nairobi and the third-largest in Kenya after its Sarit and Likoni branches.
The launch also coincides with the expansion of Galleria Shopping Mall, which has grown by more than 100,000 square feet and added over 25 new tenants.
Hotpoint said the new outlet has been designed to provide customers with an immersive shopping experience. It stocks more than 20 global brands, with 10 featuring dedicated standalone displays.
Customers will be able to shop for a wide range of products, including home appliances, consumer electronics, and air conditioning and cooling solutions.
Speaking during the launch, Hotpoint Appliances Ltd Director Keval Kanani said the new outlet reflects the company's continued investment in improving customer experience.
“Galleria represents the next step in our journey to bring Hotpoint closer to the communities we serve. As we mark 42 years of trusted service to Kenyan homes, this flagship outlet is a reflection of our continued investment in the customer experience — offering not just the widest range of home solutions, but the assurance and after-sales support that Hotpoint has always stood for. We're proud to be part of Galleria's exciting new chapter, and even prouder to welcome our customers into a space built for them,” Kanani said.
The company said the outlet offers the same customer benefits available across its nationwide network. These include free product insurance, free delivery and installation, trusted after-sales support, hassle-free returns, gift cards, flexible financing options, and what it described as an unrivalled product range.
To mark the opening, Hotpoint has introduced an exclusive promotion for shoppers at the Galleria outlet.
Customers purchasing products at the new branch will receive an extra 10 per cent discount as part of a Galleria-only offer.
The retailer said the promotion also coincides with its 42nd anniversary, giving customers an opportunity to celebrate the milestone while accessing deals on home appliances, electronics and cooling solutions.
According to the company, the new outlet is part of its strategy to bring its products and services closer to customers across Nairobi.
Hotpoint said the branch will serve individual households as well as businesses and institutions looking for appliance solutions backed by after-sales service.
The opening ceremony attracted representatives from the media, industry partners and global brands, including LG and Samsung, as well as influencers.
The company said the turnout reflected its position in Kenya's retail and home appliance market.
The new outlet is located in the new wing of Galleria Shopping Mall and will operate seven days a week.
With the latest addition, Hotpoint continues to expand its national retail network while strengthening its presence in Nairobi through larger stores offering a wider selection of products and customer support services.
