Three files needed in an ongoing investigations into abuse of office allegations have gone missing in a county in western Kenya. The files mysteriously disappeared from the county offices moments it emerged that a watchdog committee at the assembly and an anti-graft agency were planning to ask for them. An insider said those involved in breaking procurement laws have hidden the original documents to give way to forgery. It is said forging of documents is a routine in the county.
