A WhatsApp group reportedly formed by a youthful MP from the Rift Valley for coordination of harambees and church events as part of their game plan, recently underwent a seismic shift. Reportedly, there was an abrupt mass exit of members from a particular region. It is not known what prompted this but those in the know attribute it to the recent political developments.

A key agency with key roles in the country’s politics has been called out for an alleged uncontrolled engagement of a group of professionals raking millions in levies. Keen observers hold that the agency has supposedly been taking the professionals on board in large groups, raising questions on what’s ever so serious that one team can’t handle. Some concerned action groups were overheard whispering that some of the professionals could allegedly be used as channels to siphon money from state agencies. In the wake of sit-ins at state bodies, the agitators left no doubt the agency could be among the ones they intend to ‘occupy’ if nothing changes.

A Member of Parliament who has been one of the alleged wheeler-dealers in government has seemingly panicked. The man, one of those believed to have accumulated wealth overnight, was allegedly heard telling his colleagues how the Gen Z demos have slammed breaks on his deals in government. It’s understood that his co-dealers in government have suddenly stopped their activities after the public focused a spotlight on the top executive officer he has supposedly been banking on to secure multi-million shillings deals that he splashes in harambees and other social places.
