Executive lines up wrong answers to embarrass governor in Senate

A COUNTY EXECUTIVE committee member is said to have knowingly prepared answers that would embarrass his boss when he appeared before senators for questioning. The governor was appearing before a watchdog committee to respond to some queries. The county executive lined up wrong and immaterial answers for the governor as his defence. The county chief also carried along documents that were unconnected, which caused confusion and put the county chief in a fix.

Tired of the recently elevated official, the ward reps have vowed to teach the man a lesson. The MCAs have been questioning what the official is up to, saying he has reduced his national position to being a supervisor of the county and a campaigner for a female politician who has declared interest in the governor’s position.

The residents are questioning the origin of the rungu and its meaning or purspose, as the community considers it a taboo for a woman to carry a rungu. The only time a woman is allowed to carry the weapon is when she is mourning the death of her husband. So, for the politican to carry the rungu while her husband is still alive is something locals are struggling to comprehend. They look at it as a bad omen and a curse.
