broad-based government.

official, who was fronted by a former high-ranking operative, is unlikely to survive
the bloodbath.

A TWO-TERM LAWMAKER from Rift
Valley recently left his colleagues in a
state of panic.
The MP, who was part of a
delegation to a foreign country, sneaked
out of his hotel room to enjoy himself
in a brothel, only for things to go south.
We are told he made numerous frantic
calls and sent texts to his colleagues in
the middle of the night. Why? He had
apparently spent all the money he had
carried and needed a quick loan.
When no
one answered his calls, he handed over his
phone to the brothel keeper so he could
go on indulging himself.
After several un- successful efforts of colleagues trying to
reach him in the morning, it later emerged
he never slept in his room.

THE PRESENCE OF a certain man, who
has an affair with a woman holding a key
public office at a recent political event
has caused jitters among the powers that
be.
While it is not clear whether the man
and the public figure are engaged, his presence became the subject of discussion
among confidants of the big boss.
For
how long have the two been in a relations- hip? That was the burning question.
There
are concerns about possible leakage of
sensitive information by the public official
to the partner, who is a close ally of an
opposition leader. Well, this is a juicy story

A RECENT INCIDENT at a critical ins- tallation threatens to ruin the careers of

Corridors of Power has been informed the occurence was a deliberate act
by some cartels to muddy the waters for
a senior official.
We are told they wanted
to portray him as incompetent and force
his removal after their earlier attempts to
stage a go-slow failed.
Unfortunately for
the plotters, the official enjoys protection
from higher offices.
