A team investigating fraud involving Sh130 million are reportedly unsure what to do next after the name of a big man in their docket was purportedly adversely mentioned. A fraudster caught and questioned in the saga allegedly mentioned the official as his sponsor. Unsure, the team has sought the advice of their boss on the way forward and the boss is consulting widely. It’s not clear if the said official was involved in the fraud.

A recent merger of two political outfits might have reportedly caused more disgruntlement than one of the party owners expected. Some members said to be uncomfortable with the merger have allegedly threatened to join another popular party in the region despite their “tribal differences”. The top man is now feeling the heat from the grassroots and from the top, as the other party fears he is non-committal to the merger. The man, who has been extra busy in his work, has not had time to visit his backyard to evaluate the ground.
