Deputy President William Ruto has been on a charm offensive of the Coast, as he seeks the regions support for his presidential bid.
His many visits to the region seem to have borne notable results owing to the number sitting and aspiring MPs supporting the Deputy President.
The Coast region has for many years been rallying behind ODM leader Raila Odinga.
However, Ruto's support has been growing in the region with at least 12 MPs supporting him, with the number expected to rise.
