Teenage pregnancies, gender-based violence and HIV/Aids are some of the challenges facing Kenya's young generation.

In 2021, a total of 1.2 million persons living with HIV were on ARVs.

In the same year, 317.644 cases of teen pregnancies were reported.

About 98 teenagers between the age of 10and 19 were infected with HIV every week in the year 2021.
