Internet connectivity to selected schools

98 per cent of learners say Internet access has had most of their needs met.

An impressive 98 per cent of Kenyan learners said most of their needs have been met since the introduction of Internet in their schools.

This is according to a report by the Ministry of Education in partnership with UNESCO, Huawei and Information Communication Authority (ICT).

The report further states that 84 per cent of students said Internet makes learning more exciting.

Another  73 per cent acknowledged internet makes complex ideas easier to understand while 54 per cent said learning has been more engaging with the Internet.
