Summary of the 2023 KCPE results

In Summary


  • For the marks between 300 and 399, there were 352,782 in this category constituting 24.29 percent. 
  • Further, Machogu said a total of 658,278 candidates scored marks between 200 and 299, with this he noted the results were low, as compared to 2022. 

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu on Thursday announced the examination results for the last cohort of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education. 

The CS released the results at the Mitihani house, in the company of education stakeholders including PS Belio Kipsang, and Teachers Service Commission CEO Nancy Macharia, among others. 

In the results, a total of 8,525 candidates scored a total of 400 marks and above. 

This the CS said is equivalent to 0.60%.
