How to remove period stains from underwear and clothes

Period stains can be a nuisance especially if they stick on your favourite outfit.

However, there exists a number of ways through which you can get rid of the smudge on your garments and feel confident wearing them next time.

Besides the tips provided above, the method below also works.

Soak a sponge in vinegar, lemon juice, or hydrogen peroxide.

Blot the blood-stained area.

Run the stained area under cold water.

Repeat until you've lifted as much of the stain as you can.

For coloured garments, try making a solution of two parts water mixed with one part salt.

Immerse the fabric, rubbing the stained area gently with salt to erase the stain.
