Kenya has at least 12 State Houses and State Lodges across the country.
The State Houses are mainly three, one in Nairobi, Mombasa and Nakuru.
The State Lodges are distributed in Nine counties which include Kakamega, Kisumu, Kisii, Eldoret, Makueni, Kilifi and Nyeri among others.
In February the lodges and State Houses was planned for a facelift worth Sh1.55 billion for the Financial Year 2024-25.
Of the total, Sh953 million will go towards renovation of State Lodges across the country.
