Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua downplayed impeachment claims allegedly being pushed by a section of his political nemesis.
Gachagua confirmed that he had heard of the impeachment claims but said he was not worried about them.
"If speaking for my people will be the reason for my impeachment, I'm ready to go home. I'm still young," he said.
Gachagua also said that he was not consulted before the removal of Cleopas Malala as the UDA party Secretary General.
The DP said that no one either informed or consulted him on plans to remove Malala from his seat.
"Malala was kicked out at 5 am from the ruling party. I was not called to that meeting that decided to remove him from his seat," Gachagua said.
