Tea export earnings increased by Sh33.28 billion in the year ended June 2024, new data shows.
This was driven by the increased production of the green leaf following heavy rains during the period.
Data from KNBS shows that the value of tea exports hit Sh203.71 billion during the financial year 2023/24.
