An Infotrak survey released on October 11, 2024, reveals that 73% of Kenyans believe the country is heading in the wrong direction.
The leading concerns cited by respondents include poor governance and politics (64%), high cost of living (43%), and unemployment (22%).
Other significant issues include corruption (19%), poor infrastructure (12%), and poverty (9%).
Factors like tribalism, extra-judicial killings, and poor quality of education were also highlighted.
Only 11% of those surveyed feel the country is on the right track, reflecting widespread dissatisfaction among Kenyans about the nation's current state of affairs.
